Eosinophilic esophagitis is a chronic inflammatory condition of the esophagus that can cause difficulty swallowing (dysphagia), food impaction, chest discomfort and other upper GI symptoms. In this educational presentation, Dr. Sericati reviews the signs and symptoms of EoE, current approaches to diagnosis and treatment, and considerations for referral to gastroenterology.
