Dr. Lockwood is a native of Alabama where he received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University. He completed medical school at the University of South Alabama. He then completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia, followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Vanderbilt University.

He received further training in therapeutic endoscopy including ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, and therapy for Barrett’s Esophagus at Vanderbilt University. His primary clinical interests include pancreaticobiliary disease, Barrett’s Esophagus, and general gastroenterology. In his free time, he enjoys hiking with his wife and their dogs, skiing, and fly-fishing in and around Idaho.
