Idaho Gastroenterology Associates recently celebrated an exciting milestone with an official ribbon cutting for our 10 Mile Clinic and Endoscopy Center in Meridian.

Joined by the Meridian Chamber of Commerce, members of the IGA team, neighboring organizations and members of the community, we gathered at Ten Mile Medical Plaza to celebrate IGA’s continued growth and expanded access to gastroenterology care in the Meridian community.

Dr. Lockwood had the honor of cutting the ribbon, surrounded by IGA team members from across the organization, including leadership, clinical and administrative staff who have helped support the growth of our Ten Mile location.

Of course, no gastroenterology celebration would be complete without a colon, or in this case, a very, very large one.

Thanks to Boston Scientific, guests and visitors to Ten Mile Medical Plaza were greeted by a giant inflatable colon at the entrance to the building. In addition to making for some memorable photos, the display offered a fun way to bring attention to colorectal health and the importance of preventive care.

We are especially grateful to our neighbors throughout Ten Mile Medical Plaza, who enthusiastically welcomed our larger-than-life addition to the building for the day and helped make the celebration even more fun.

Guests enjoyed balloons, fresh fruit and cookies while connecting with members of the IGA team and celebrating the new location.

A special thank you goes to the Meridian Chamber of Commerce for helping us commemorate the occasion, Boston Scientific for the inflatable colon, and Maya and the many members of the IGA team who helped organize the event and bring the celebration together.

Expanding GI Care in Meridian

Our 10 Mile location represents an important part of IGA’s commitment to making high-quality gastroenterology care more accessible throughout the Treasure Valley.

Located within Ten Mile Medical Plaza, the location brings together the 10 Mile Clinic and Endoscopy Center, giving patients convenient access to specialized GI care and endoscopic services in Meridian.

We are incredibly grateful to our patients, referring providers, community partners and team members who continue to support IGA as we grow.

The ribbon has officially been cut, the giant colon has been deflated, and we’re excited for what comes next at 10 Mile.
