Dr. McCoy is a native of California and attended the University of Notre Dame for undergraduate studies prior to attending New York Medical College. After residency in Los Angeles at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, she moved to San Francisco to complete a fellowship in gastroenterology at California Pacific Medical Center.
Upon graduating in 2016, she stayed on to work for the Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation. Dr. McCoy moved to Boise and joined IGA in the summer of 2020. She has a particular interest in colon cancer screening, motility disorders of the esophagus, and caring for patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). In her spare time, she enjoys biking, Lagree Pilates, Notre Dame football, and exploring Idaho with her husband and two children.

If you choose to proceed without required authorization, insurance may deny coverage. If you are a Medicare patient, you may be asked to sign an Advanced Beneficiary Notice (ABN) acknowledging financial responsibility if insurance does not pay. If you are enrolled in a commercial insurance plan you will be asked to sign a non-covered services form.
